A practical programme in groups and individual work helping you to understand and overcome stress.  Take control of your stress levels, learn to relax, learn to analyse the things that stress you. Using exercise, creative visualisation and time management to reduce stress.

Preamble

We all experience stress, which can affect us in many different ways. A certain level of stress is beneficial and stimulates us to perform well. However, too much stress will impair performance.

It is estimated that 3% of the workers in any organisation will be stressed to danger point. Many days are lost through stress related illness and workers tend to perform poorly when stressed.

In the past the main method of resolving this problem was to sack the person. This is not cost effective. The alternative is to train your staff to observe stress in themselves and others and then to use simple, affective methods for reducing the stress.

Course Benefits

The benefits for your employees are that they will suffer less illness, become more productive, lead happier lives. The benefits for you are that you will have less absenteeism for whatever reason, greater production and a happier workforce. This in turn will lead to a less stressed management team and helping them be more focused. Workers are your most valuable resource, so in cost terms - think of how much it costs to recruit and train a new worker. Also evidence shows that the work of your staff can be enhanced through stress control.

What can you do? Learning to relax is a good start then you can learn some of the invaluable techniques available to enhance your life when YOU take control of the stress not let it control you.
